Kristin Fisher was added to the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. As the daughter of 2 NASA astronauts Kristin has a background in the field of space and has was a part of the space industry for five years, reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. While there she also covered impeachment proceedings for President Trump, the 2020 presdiential campaign and two attempts by the administration to stop the coronavirus pandemic. Kristin traveled frequently, and both with the president and vice president. The reporter even took a top-secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter prior to becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin is also an experienced filmmaker, established Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentaries, for companies such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their daughter, who is three years old.
